Urgent Action Needed

Secure Our Communities Now

The freedom to openly practice one’s religion without fear is a cornerstone of American democracy. Today, that freedom is under attack.

Jewish communities are being forced to shift core programs like schools, camps, food banks, and social services to meet increased security needs while demand outpaces the federal program Congress built to help.

The cost of securing our community alone stands at an estimated $765M per year.

This security need affects all houses of worship and all communities of faith. This is a national domestic terror crisis, and we urgently need federal investments in law enforcement personnel, intelligence, preparedness, and prevention through the Nonprofit Security Grant Program.

Advocate for the Nonprofit Security Grant Program, which provides critical funding for nonprofits, including Jewish Federations, to enhance security and protect our communities from antisemitism.

  • Support Holocaust Survivors

Ensure Holocaust survivors receive essential care and support. Advocate for the Holocaust Survivor Assistance Program, which provides critical services to survivors and their caregivers.

  • Ensure Israel's Security

Urge your legislators to prioritize Israel’s safety by supporting measures that bolster its defense capabilities and protect Israeli citizens from harm.

  • Support the Social Safety Net

Millions of vulnerable seniors, people with disabilities, and low-income families rely on programs like Medicaid and SNAP for essential healthcare and food. We must protect these vital programs.

  • Advance Charitable Giving

A thriving society depends on philanthropy. We must advocate for policies that support charitable gifts and protect them from burdensome regulations.
