New Cabinet Class Set to Embark on Leadership Journey

Jewish Federations of North America’s National Young Leadership Cabinet (“Cabinet”) is proud to announce its 2025 class of 117 new members, taking a key step in growing their ability to serve their local Jewish communities and the global Jewish people.

This cohort will begin their five-year Cabinet journey at Cabinet’s Retreat from August 10-13 in Denver.

Cabinet is Jewish Federations’ premier leadership development program and inspires emerging global Jewish leaders towards philanthropy, communal engagement, and activism in support of Jewish people and community everywhere. Including this year’s class, Cabinet now has over 500 members.

“Cabinet’s new class represents the incredible intention among emerging volunteer leaders and philanthropist in the Jewish Federation system to be of service to the Jewish community, especially in this time of unprecedented challenges and the immense opportunity to define the Jewish future,” said Ben Schindler, Associate Vice President of Cabinet. “Through their experience in Cabinet, we will support them to build the skills, knowledge, and connections to lead the North American Jewish Community and to help us build flourishing communities both now and in the years to come.”

Cabinet is a five-year program for volunteer leaders ages 30-45. This year’s incoming members represent 38 communities, including six small and intermediate. Cabinet will have more than 500 members from 72 Federations across all classes, and more than 4,300 alumni who foster flourishing Jewish communities around the globe.

The new class will travel together to Israel in March to serve those in need and to witness the impact of Federations’ support.
