ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Effectively plan, compose, post, and monitor multiple social media platforms
- Assist in keeping website up to date
- Organize and distribute weekly digital newsletter
- Collect data related to newsletter, website and social media behavior
- Create and manage digital event and program registration pages
- Assist with creating, organizing and collecting marketing materials and copy for design professionals
- Support and work closely with marketing director, fundraising staff, community relations director and engagement professionals with various projects as needed
- Bid out advertising and other marketing related procurement through approved vendors
- Assist in organizing and producing events, programs, and campaigns (traditional and digital/virtual) and attend them to facilitate their success
- Develop measurable outcomes to evaluate effectiveness of assignments
- Manage special projects and additional relevant responsibilities as determined by supervisor and senior staff
- Staff the B’nai Tzedek Teen Philanthropy Program and the Tzedakah Week Phone-a-thon event.

- Experience managing and developing projects and budgets
Education, Training and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree in relevant field required and advanced degree preferred or equivalent of professional experience
- A minimum of 2 years of professional experience in marketing with success as part of a team
- Experience working with volunteers particularly in the non-profit sector, strongly preferred.
- Proficient in working with zoom/virtual meeting platforms
PHYSICAL DEMANDS/ WORKING CONDITIONS
Whether temporarily working from home remotely or in the Federation offices, nature of work requires an ability to operate standard business office equipment and software. Ability to communicate and exchange information, collect, compile and prepare work documents, set-up and maintain work files, as well as sitting at a computer desk. Travel by automobile will be required at times. Work performed in a general office environment. The position requires availability for additional hours at various times and regular participation at organizational community events and meetings including nights and weekends. This position does not require lifting of heavy physical objects.
