A master class in philanthropy, Fisher FLIGHT fellows will learn from experts in all fields as they explore what giving means for their families, their future, and themselves.
Together, FLIGHT fellows build legacies and examine the role that philanthropists have in building the Jewish future and making the world a better place.
FLIGHT alumni are among the most innovative, impactful philanthropists in the Jewish world today. And beyond the scope of the program, they continue to gather together to network, learn and inspire one another.

The FLIGHT year begins with a week in Israel. We see the real Israel, with all of its strengths and weaknesses. We will meet with top political, business and cultural leaders, visit successful projects that address critical issues and engage with Israelis who are among the country’s most vulnerable. Our conversation grapples with personal and communal issues, family and Jewish values, and the challenges and opportunities that face Israel and the global Jewish community. We meet again in Miami to continue our conversation around philanthropy and values, and we chart the impact that we want to make on the world. While the curriculum concludes here, philanthropic education, networking, and opportunities continue.
FLIGHT is funded by The Jewish Federations of North America in partnership with the Max M. and Marjorie S. Fisher Foundation in memory of the legendary leader and philanthropist, Max Fisher. Max used his intelligence, resources and foresight to build a strong Jewish community. He pioneered a new era in Jewish activism and politics.
