Mimi Kravetz Joins Jewish Federations as new Chief Impact & Growth Officer

Jewish Federations are thrilled to announce Mimi Kravetz as their new Chief Impact and Growth Officer, a key role in growing the success both of individual Federations and of the Federation system as a whole.

“Our investment in Impact and Growth has been transformational and is turning Jewish Federations into the leaders in  using data to drive the success of our Jewish communities ," said Jewish Federations President and CEO Eric Fingerhut. “I can think of no one who is more accomplished, experienced, and suited to take on this work than Mimi Kravetz.”

As the importance of using data to drive decision-making has skyrocketed in recent years, Kravetz’s team will develop a host of new ways to analyze and systematize the work of all Federations towards maximizing the use of data, research, and qualitative insights to take our work to new heights.

Kravetz joins Federations after serving in top leadership positions in both the corporate and nonprofit worlds.

Most recently, she built the HR foundation at Twin, a digital health start-up, where she served as the company’s first Chief People Officer. Before Twin, she served for seven years at Hillel International, first as the inaugural Chief Talent Officer, in which she supported 1200 Hillel professionals across 550 campuses, and attracted top talent to Hillel and to the Jewish non-profit sector as a whole, and later as Chief Experience Officer. In that capacity, she worked across all student impact and program areas, including marketing and communications.

Prior to her service at Hillel International, Kravetz was the Head of Employment Brand at Google where she was the senior marketing partner to Google’s People Operations team on hiring, training, and diversity strategies across all areas of the business. She also served in a leadership role at Google.org, where she was in charge of educating and advising nonprofits. She began her career at Stanford University’s Hillel, after which she worked at American Express.

“Jewish Federations have unparalleled reach across the entire Jewish communal world, making them the perfect place for using data and insights to help us all understand and serve our community better,” Kravetz said. “I cannot wait to dig in and bring this incredible initiative to the next level!”

Kravetz received her MBA from Harvard Business School and BA from Tufts University in International Relations. She resides in the San Francisco Bay Area with her husband and their two children.
