Jewish Federations of North America are closely monitoring the wildfires that have been spreading through the Jerusalem corridor, and are working to assess the damage and what type of support might be needed in the coming days. Already, Federation dollars are at work through our support for the mobile command center that is helping the Israel Fire Service manage civilian needs. We pray for everyone’s safety, and in particular, are thinking of those evacuated from their homes and the first responders who are working tirelessly to strike down the fires.
