About the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples
The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples (JFGN) is the center for Jewish philanthropy and involvement in Naples, Florida. JFGN creates a sense of community for over 12,000 Jewish residents of Naples and surrounding areas by initiating and supporting programs to further Jewish learning, identity, pride, and culture. In addition, JFGN provides for the varying needs of the Jewish population, from young children and families to seniors. JFGN has over 3,000 members, including the Women’s Cultural Alliance (1,600 members) and the Men’s Cultural Alliance (850 members). JFGN’s 2023 annual campaign generated $1.65 million, and an additional $1 million was raised for the Israel Emergency Relief Campaign in recent months.

 

About the Nina Isler Jewish Cultural Center
The new state of the art Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center opened its doors in January of 2023, offering 20,000 square feet of multipurpose gathering space for JFGN’s wide-ranging and rapidly expanding array of educational, cultural, and social programming.

Located in southwestern Florida on the Gulf of Mexico, Naples is a popular destination city known for its breathtaking sunsets and pristine beaches, excellent weather, golf courses, and culinary and cultural attractions.


The President & CEO Position‍
Reporting directly to the Board of Trustees, the President & CEO will work toward the fulfillment of JFGN’s mission by performing the following key duties:
 

I.   Executive Leadership & Strategic Vision:

  • Drive implementation of JFGN’s current strategic plan and play an instrumental role in developing the upcoming strategic plan.  
  • Partner with lay and professional stakeholders to create a welcoming home to serve and support the entire Jewish community of Greater Naples.
  • Serve as a public face and voice of the local organized Jewish community, as well as a key presence in the greater Naples community.
  • Grow and maintain strategic community partnerships by guiding the community around issues of concern in Naples and globally.
  • Liaise proactively with elected and government officials, advocating for the interests of the Jewish community and Israel.
  • Oversee the full integration of the Jewish Book Festival, the Women’s Cultural Alliance (WCA) and the Men’s Cultural Alliance (MCA) within JFGN’s activities and events calendar. 
  • Work closely with the facilities management of the Steve Saks Campus, on which JFGN resides, as well as the leadership of Temple Shalom (co-located on the Campus), to ensure collaborative and constructive relationships.

II.   Financial Resource Development:

  • In partnership with the Director of Development and Campaign Cabinet, be responsible for a significant portfolio of major donors and foundations, including direct involvement in major gift solicitations and grants.
  • Partner with FRD professionals and lay leaders in year-round fundraising activities, as well as special campaign efforts.
  • Regularly evaluate the management and status of JFGN’s financial resources.

III.   Organizational Management:

  • Assure that JFGN’s facility is safe and has appropriate security protocols, in effective collaboration with the Board of Trustees, Secure Community Network (SCN), and the Collier County Sheriff’s Office.
  • Supervise and champion the professional growth of JFGN’s current team of 10 staff members.
  • Work closely with all volunteer leadership – including, but not limited to, JFGN’s Board of Trustees, Women’s Cultural Alliance (WCA), and Men’s Cultural Alliance (MCA).
  • Spearhead all aspects of resource allocation, in alignment with budgetary oversight.
  • Play a key role in developing the annual operating budget and ensuring fiscal compliance.
  • Guide the Board of Trustees in best practices related to policy and governance.

Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred.


Compensation Package
Base Salary Range: $185K - $225K
 

The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples offers a suite of benefits, including medical insurance (100% paid for the employee), 403-b with automatic 6% employer contribution, disability and life insurance, and generous PTO allotment.
