WHO WE ARE
The Federation of Western CT finds itself seeking an individual to join us as we reimagine ourselves and change the course of our community connections. The position will collaborate with the Board of Trustees and the CFO. You will be supported by an Administrative Assistant and Programming manager. The responsibilities include community outreach, develop public relations strategies, write and release publicity/marketing material, partner with community constituents via programming, build/maintain key community relations, membership expansion, identifying new financial support sources, both private and corporate levels and be the outward facing liaison to the community while helping to fulfill our Mission Statement. 


 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Previous nonprofit experience
  • Self-directed, self-starting
  • Demonstrate experience with engagement/participation with groups and individuals in the catchment area
  • Knowledge/passion regarding Jewish life, tradition, culture
  • Annual campaign solicitation experience
  • Skilled at building trust-based relationships with donors
  • Strong verbal and written skills
  • High attention to details, follow through is vital
  • Possess ownership of strategic planning to move organization towards set goals


EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s degree in development or equivalent education and experience
  • Previous nonprofit experience
  • Social media, print media experience a plus


HOURS/SALARY

  • Salary commensurate with experience
  • Part time 24 hours/week -Flexible work schedule reflecting community commitments
  • Occasional evenings, weekends
