The Financial Resource Development Director will be responsible for planning and implementing all aspects of financial resource development for the Jewish Federation of Greater Naples. This will include Annual Campaign, Capital Campaign, Planned Giving and any other campaigns that may be determined. The Financial Resource Development Director will report directly to the President & CEO. The Financial Resource Development Director will work with volunteers, staff and directly with donors to help increase the campaigns. Some of the responsibility to include (but not limited to) donor solicitation, donor cultivation, direct response communications, social media, marketing and donor recognition. The staff person will also help to develop a corporate sponsorship program.
The Jewish Federation of Greater Naples is located in Naples, Florida, on the Gulf of Mexico. We have just moved into our new, state-of-the-art, 20,000 square-foot Nina Iser Jewish Cultural Center. Our community has approximately 12,000 Jewish community members and we are growing.
Responsibilities
- Help to build the annual campaign to $2 (plus) million in individual contributions (currently at $1.6 Million)
- Cultivate and develop annual campaign, by working directly with volunteers, soliciting major donors and identifying prospective donors
- Work with Donor Perfect (our DMS) to meet accurate records of all donors
- Cultivate and develop planned giving campaign
Qualifications
- Highly motivated and organized
- Demonstrated skills and measured results in fundraising
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and weekends
- Understanding of our experience in the Jewish communal world
- Bachelors degree or higher
- A minimum of five years of direct fundraising experience
