The Jewish Federations of North America represents 146 Jewish Federations and over 300 Network communities, which raise and distribute more than $3 billion annually for social welfare, social services, and educational needs. About The Jewish Changemakers Fellowship
The Jewish Changemakers Fellowship (Changemakers) is a new initiative to develop Jewish leaders in their early 20’s (Gen Z). First piloted in summer 2020, Changemakers begins as a three-week intensive online experience rooted in Jewish values, career and professional advancement, global Jewish community, and activism around pivotal social issues.  With more than 1700 young adults having completed the Changemakers curriculum since the 2020 launch, JFNA and its partners seek to engage these emerging leaders more deeply and to inspire their ongoing involvement in the Jewish community.

Created and led by JFNA, Changemakers represents the collective effort of 30+ global Jewish organizations who partner together in recruitment, session facilitation, and ongoing engagement.  Through leveraging these organizational relationships, participants become aware of the many opportunities and pathways across the global Jewish community to sustain their connection.  Changemakers are envisioned as the next generation of Jewish leaders for the long-term.

The Changemakers target audience includes a broad range of young adults, from those deeply involved in the Jewish community, to those leading in their professional fields, civic, or campus organizations with minimal connection to Jewish life.  Changemakers attracts young people with the ability and desire to make a difference in the world – the future CEO’s, law partners, nonprofit executives, and humanitarians most likely to rise to positions of influence in the Jewish community, who distinguish themselves through their compelling sense of purpose, values, and vision.
