United Jewish Communities (UJC), one of the largest and most far-reaching philanthropic organizations in North America, represents 156 Jewish Federations and 400 independent Jewish communities across the continent, and is a major voice of North American Jewry and a reflection of its passions.
Through the UJA Federation Campaign, UJC provides life-saving and life-enhancing humanitarian assistance to those in need, and translates Jewish values into social action on behalf of millions of Jews in hundreds of communities in North America, in towns and villages throughout Israel, in the former Soviet Union, and 60 countries around the world. Last year, UJC and the North American Jewish Federations raised more than $2 billion for domestic and overseas programs serving the Jewish community and ensuring Jewish renaissance, renewal and continuity for generations to come.
