The Jewish Federations of North America's Israel Terror Relief Fund Allocations
On Wednesday, November 14, 2012, Israel responded to rockets being fired against its citizens with the launch of Operation Pillar of Defense. Over the following eight days, over 1,400 rockets were fired at Israeli communities, mainly in the South of the country, disrupting life, causing intense trauma and in the worst cases, severe injury and death.
The North American Jewish Federations rallied together to create an Israel Terror Relief Fund (ITRF) of $5,000,000 in response to this crisis, which was crippling Israel’s South, holding its citizens under siege and causing untold harm, in particular to vulnerable populations.
In this anthology of materials, you can read about the allocations and programs funded by the Israel Terror Relief Fund.
