Elyse Lackie is co-chair of National Young Leadership of The Jewish Federations of North America. She was previously the co-vice chair for Education and Leadership Development of NYL Cabinet.
Dr. Lackie has held several leadership positions within UJA Federation of Greater Toronto, including serving on the Executive Committee and co-chairing the Young Leadership Division. She is currently a member of the Board of Governors of UJA. She has also held several positions within Jewish Federations Canada – UIA, and is currently a member of the Board of Directors of JFC-UIA. She is a past recipient of UJA’s Leadership Development Award, and UIA-Canada’s Young Leadership Award of Excellence.
Dr. Lackie is a governor on the Board of the North York General Hospital Foundation, and vice chair of the Governance and Nominations Committee. She is a member of the leadership team of the Annex Shul, a non-denominational, independent minyan in downtown Toronto.
She is an obstetrician and gynecologist at North York General Hospital, Toronto, and an assistant professor at the University of Toronto. She is a graduate of the University of Western Ontario and the University of Toronto, and completed a fellowship at Harvard University.
