I-LEAD for YAD Professionals
JFNA's Mandel Center for Leadership Excellence is generously offering select I-LEAD professional development programming for Federation Professionals attending Cabinet Retreat at no additional cost. The courses given will be specifically targeted to this professional group. The program will run on Wednesday, August 1st beginning at 9am. JFNA’s complete I-LEAD professional development seminar will be taking place in Dallas, TX on August 14-15. We recognize that it is difficult to attend two conferences within two weeks of each other, both because of expenses and time out of the office. We are offering this targeted I-LEAD program at Retreat so that you will not have to choose between attending Cabinet Retreat and I-LEAD this summer. Check back here for the full day program which will posted in the coming weeks.
In addition to spending time with your local Cabinet members and being involved in retreat itself, we are also very excited to share that a portion of Retreat on Thursday morning will be spent at the Disney Institute. For those of you not familiar with The Disney Institute, it is the professional development and external training arm of The Walt Disney Company. The company showcases 'the business behind the magic' through seminars, workshops and presentations, as well as programs for professionals from many different industries. We are very excited to work with them and learn from them. Find out more about the Disney Institute.
Additional Professional Gathering and Networking
In addition to attending I-LEAD, we will be offering a couple other options on Thursday and Friday for professionals to collaborate and work together during Cabinet Retreat. Similar to TribeFest, we look forward to convening our Professional Roundtables in person and have received a number of additional topics from you to cover during our time together. If there are specific topics you would like to discuss, please directly email Tali Strom with those ideas. As always, we value your feedback and keep a running list of those programs you would like to participate in. If we cannot accommodate the program at Retreat, we do look forward to covering the material at another time.
