Visit to supermarket
Visit local homes.
Lunch at Choral Synagogue, originally built in 1790. The synagogue was destroyed and then rebuilt in 1840. From 1940 until 1991, when the USSR collapsed, the synagogue was used as a sports hall. In 1997, the Jewish community of Odessa reclaimed the synagogue.

Visit Stolyarksy Music School.
Hear a personal story from Misha Galperin, the CEO and President of The Jewish Agency for Israel International Development, who was born in Odessa.

Visit with the elderly at Beit Grand. Speak with Holocaust survivors and Righteous Gentiles who helped rescue Jews during the Holocaust,
Meet with youth at Cafe Dilemma and Hillel.

Depart for Tel Aviv.
Arrive at Ben Gurion Airport.
Opening lunch at Kfar Hamaccabia
Visit JAFI and JDC programs.
Travel to Haifa for Birthright Mega Event.
Arrive at Haifa Naval base for pre-event program with Birthright participants and soldiers who accompany birthright groups.
Dinner followed by Mega Event
Late return to Jerusalem and hotel check in
Overnight: Inbal Hotel, Jerusalem
Friday, July 13
Israeli breakfast
Activity with World ORT
Lunch followed by panel about the Middle East with scholars.
Blood drive at the hotel with Magen David Adom
Prepare for Shabbat.

Visit Amigur, a Jewish Agency program that provides housing to the elderly in need, many of them Holocaust survivors. Meet with Amigur residents and hear their stories.

Farewell dinner on the rooftop of the Mamilla hotel overlooking the old and new city of Jerusalem
Depart for Ben Gurion Airport.
