THE 2012 CAMPAIGN CHAIRS
AND DIRECTORS MISSION
Odessa & Israel
July 9-15, 2012

The Campaign Chairs and Directors Mission is JFNA's premier Development program, serving as the kick-off for the Annual Campaign each year. This year, we will travel to Odessa to meet with veteran community leaders as well as the young leaders of tomorrow. We will see the social service infrastructure supported by our partner agencies to better understand the impact of our work on the ground. Our program will be enriched by our scholar, Rabbi Michael Paley  who will guide us through the streets and history of the Odessa Jewish community and continue with us to Israel; where we will visit an array of Jewish Agency, JDC and ORT programs. 

This mission will provide you with tools and resources to advance your fundraising efforts. Campaign chairs and directors will have the opportunity to bond and to learn with and from each other and JFNA's leadership. You will return home feeling inspired, informed, motivated and above all confident in your role as the leaders of your community’s 2013 Campaign.

We are pleased to offer a pre-mission visit to Vienna to allow you to enjoy a relaxing day or two in advance of the mission. The link in the right-hand column of this page details that option. You may also wish to arrive early to Odessa either to take advantage of general site seeing or to get acclimated to the time.  Make sure your travel plans enable you to attend the opening program in Odessa on Monday, July 9th at 4:00 pm.

Your flight from Odessa to Israel is included in the cost of the mission. However, you are responsible for your travel to Odessa as well as your flight from Israel back to your local community. The program ends on Sunday, July 15th at 9:30 pm. We will provide transportation to the airport for those taking flights back that evening.

For those planning to stay on in Israel, your room at the Inbal Hotel in Jerusalem is yours until 6:00 pm. If you would like to keep your room overnight or extend your stay, we are happy to make hotel arrangements for you, and you are responsible for any additional cost. Please let us know your exact plans on the mission registration form. Mission registration is now open.

Please remember that this unique mission requires the focused participation of leadership teams (chair/director pairs). We look forward to sharing this unique experience with you, and invite you to share your thoughts, comments and questions with us. We will be in touch soon with more information.

$2,900, which includes a subsidy of $1,800 by JFNA. The single supplement is $900.
