With a goal to widen the tent and raise the roof; National Women’s Philanthropy recognizes that volunteer and social action programs are low-barrier entry points into the Federation system. These programs serve as feeders for increased education, engagement, and eventually donations to the system—and they make people feel good about the work we are doing at home and around the world.
Social action programs are only one piece of a long and collaborative effort to build involvement and support for your Federation and welcome new people into our midst so that the sacred work of sustaining a vibrant Jewish community can flourish with renewed strength and vigor. It is all within our reach when we meet our participants where they are to engage them in tikkun olam and eventually tzedakah.
