The Federations of North America expresses its solidarity with the people of Israel in the wake of the gaza cease-fire of Operation Cast Lead.
In response to Israel’s defense military operations and the growing humanitarian needs in Southern Israel, the Jewish Federations of North America / Federation system launched the Israel Solidarity Drive. This effort aimed to raise $10 million in critical allocations to meet the deepening social needs in Southern Israel. Those needs deepened after the region was hit by more than 10,000 missile attacks over the past eight years from the Gaza region.
As part of the Israel Solidarity Drive, many communities held rallies expressing support for the people of Israel that drew tens of thousands of participants. To learn more, visit Rallies Across North America: A week of solidarity with Israel.
This page is meant as an information resource to help communities raise funds, to advocate for Israel and the situation in Southern Israel, and to show solidarity with the people of Israel. You can also support the ongoing effort, called the Israel Solidarity Drive, or urge your community members to join the effort.
