Association of Jewish Family & Children’s Agencies (AFJCA)

The Association of Jewish Family and Children’s Agencies and its 140 member agencies across the United States and Canada provide programs and services that support individuals and families as they face diverse and critical issues. AJFCA members partner with local federations to build communities that enhance the opportunity for each person to live a healthy and meaningful Jewish life.

AJFCA increases the capacity of its member agencies to provide comprehensive support services for the young and the old; for those in crisis; and for those facing life’s ongoing challenges. Each individual and family is strengthened and empowered on the road to self-sufficiency. By being responsive to individual needs from birth to the end of life with culturally sensitive services, AJFCA and its member agencies contribute to the growth of a strong Jewish community.

For Jewish social service providers across North America, AJFCA offers professional expertise in understanding current and emerging trends; solving problems around service delivery issues; recruiting personnel; planning and research. Additionally, AJFCA assists the Jewish and broader community with local and national participation in disaster relief; coordinating mental health
