Coming to DC for Shabbat?
Pre - GA Shabbaton
We are pleased to announce that American Friends of Lubavitch (Chabad) in Washington have offered to host GA participants for an uplifting and inspirational pre- GA Shabbaton. Experience and celebrate Shabbat in a relaxed and meaningful manner, meet other leadership and get spiritually charged for the GA.
Shabbat Theme
- The "Binding of Isaac" - the timeless response to the eternal Jewish "calling"
Shabbat Program
- Friday night, Kabbalat Shabbat at 6 pm, followed by dinner (at about 7pm)
- Shabbat morning at 9:30, followed by communal lunch - preceded by a class at 9:00 am on Jewish mystical insights into Abraham and Sarah
- Mincha, Seudah Shlishit at 4:45pm
Join Chabad for inspirational services, engaging study, great food, fun and camaraderie. The location is very convenient to the Marriott Wardman Park (about a 15-20 minute walk) and Dupont Circle.
