Position Overview
Major non-profit Jewish organization seeks a full-time Campaign professional for The Network, which will work with those ages 22 – 39 years old. Responsibilities will include fundraising, networking, recruiting, developing volunteer leaders, as well as planning programs, events and meetings. This position will report to The Network Director.

Campaign Responsibilities:
The Network Campaign Associate will cultivate donors and volunteer leaders who are ages 22-39 for all aspects of the Annual Campaign, which will include organizing a minimum gift event, solicitation trainings and phonathons. This position will also include assignments for community-wide Campaign events, such as Super Sunday.

Outreach & Programming:
This role will include intensive outreach to those ages 22-39 in the Jewish community, especially the post-college twenties age group. Daily responsibilities will include planning outreach meetings with community members to engage them in the Mission of the Federation, managing the Taglit-Birthright Israel alumni database, and recruiting for various upcoming events and meetings.

This position will include staffing various committees. Examples of duties include coordinating The Network’s Leadership Development Institute (five sessions), the Board Installation Brunch and Board Socials, Shabbat dinners, happy hours, a local agency tour, and hands-on community service projects. This position will involve building relationships and partnering with other Federation departments and our beneficiary agencies.

Due to the nature and lifestyle of this age group, this position will include numerous evenings and occasional weekend work.

Qualifications/Skills:
Bachelor’s degree required
Quick learner with strong interpersonal skills and knowledge of volunteer/professional dynamics
Self-starter who is resourceful, well-organized and able to spearhead new initiatives
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines
Good team player with the ability to help build consensus
Fundraising and event planning experience
Computer skills, including strong experience with Microsoft Office and social media Knowledge of Jewish customs and traditions preferred
